    In January 2024, Project Sheepdog had the privilege of hosting a T-shirt workshop in collaboration with a local company, Inkredible Prints, business owned by Cesar Montelongo.

    Participants had the opportunity to learn the value of hard work and the importance of placing God at the center of their endeavors. They also explored the significance of being providers and allowing God to guide their talents in service to others.

    During the workshop, fathers and children worked together to create custom T-shirts, fostering meaningful connections and creating lasting memories.

  • Self Defense Seminar

    The self-defense seminar for fathers and their children proved to be a transformative experience, focusing on building connection and confidence through practical learning. Participants engaged in hands-on, interactive training sessions that covered essential self-defense movements. These activities not only taught valuable physical skills but also instilled a deeper understanding of the protector role that fathers embody. Attendees left with newfound knowledge and a strengthened bond, emphasizing the importance of safety, awareness, and the commitment to looking out for one another.   • Provide Event

    Project SheepDog hosted an empowering event where fathers and their children came together to create hygiene kits for the homeless. This hands-on activity not only equipped those in need with essential supplies but also instilled valuable lessons in the kids about being providers and the importance of selflessness.

    After building the hygiene kits, the fathers and children engaged in an exhilarating game of gel blasters. This lively activity fostered a deeper bond between them, reinforcing the day's theme of connection and community care. Overall, the event successfully combined a charitable mission with joyful, quality time, strengthening both family ties and the spirit of giving.

    Project SheepDog hosted an exhilarating Nerf War event aimed at strengthening the bond between fathers and their children. This action-packed day featured a variety of games organized in a team bracket format, encouraging friendly competition and collaboration. Fathers were encouraged to carve out intentional time with their kids, stepping away from their daily routines to engage in pure, unadulterated fun.The event was designed to push everyone out of their comfort zones, fostering deeper connections through shared laughter and strategic teamwork. By navigating the battlefield together, fathers and children created unforgettable memories, while learning the importance of active participation in each other's lives. Project SheepDog successfully exemplified the power of play in building stronger relationships, emphasizing that sometimes, the best moments are found outside the norm.

  • Pencil Pouch Project

    Project SheepDog successfully hosted a powerful back-to-school event focused on community support and empowerment. Collaborating with the youth from Journey Church, we emphasized the significance of providing for those in need and the vital role each individual can play in making a difference.Through generous donations from the community, we gathered materials to create pencil pouches, equipping local students with essential school supplies. The event was not just about assembling these items; it was about fostering a sense of responsibility and compassion among the participants.Once the pencil pouches were completed, they were distributed in partnership with The Local Heart Foundation, ensuring that the supplies reached children who truly needed them. This initiative exemplified the spirit of community and the impactful results that arise when we work together for a common cause.Project SheepDog, Journey Church, Hood Santa, and The Local Heart Foundation united to provide hope and resources, reinforcing the message that helping others enriches us all.

  • PERSEVERE Ruck Challenge

    Project SheepDog hosted an exhilarating Ruck Challenge that empowered fathers to lead their families on an intense yet friendly journey. Participants embarked on a challenging 3-mile Ruck, strategically designed to weave in obstacles that required collaboration and resilience. Each step of the way, fathers took charge, guiding their families and fostering a spirit of teamwork.

    Through this experience, families not only faced physical challenges but also discovered the invaluable lessons of perseverance, leadership, and unity. As they tackled each hurdle, they learned the significance of never giving up when things get tough. By working together as a cohesive unit, these families built stronger bonds and a deeper understanding of overcoming life's obstacles. Project SheepDog’s Ruck Challenge proved to be more than just a physical event; it was a transformative journey that underscored the essence of family, strength, and leadership in the face of adversity.
